    FULPER 7" VASE IN BLUE FLAMBE GLAZE WITH HINTS OF GREEN c1917-1923 MINT F149
    This very handsome Fulper vase stands 7" high by 5.5" in diameter.  It has a statuesque and shapely form.  Best of all, it has an awesome flambe glaze in stormy blues and hints of green.  The blue shading is superb, very deep!  This vase is marked on the base, and according to new research by John Kornacki, whose article was recently published in the Journal of the American Art Pottery Association, this vase dates to 1917-1923.  This enlightening article about Fulper's marking system is a primer for collectors and dealers alike.  Visit www.aapa.info for information about joining the AAPA. This vessel is in mint condition, with the usual glaze nuances common to Fulper pots.  It makes a wonderfully handsome Arts & Crafts presentation!
