FULPER PORCELAINE 14" 'THE MASK' LADY ART DECO BOUDOIR LAMP IN YELLOW GLAZE MINTThis rare Fulper boudoir lamp stands a mighty 14" high by 7" in diameter, a majestic Art Deco beauty. It is one of a number of lamp designs by the Fulper Pottery, from their porcelaine line from the late 1920s, early 1930s. It depicts a masked young lady, with jet black hair covered in a feathered skull cap, in a gorgeous yellow and white glaze combination, with orangy-red touches. Her dress boasts long draping sleeves, which looks like a costume worn to a ball in the Art Deco era, very mysterious, and simply fabulous! This boudoir lamp is a 2-part lamp, in which the dress portion clamps onto a light bulb, which is held in place by her legs/feet, which are cloaked in yellow ruffles. She is standing on a stepped platform base, in her bare feet, dressed only in blushed pink nail polish. Her layered dress spreads dramatically, giving her a very sizable footprint. Her masked face is really beautiful, with blushed rouge and rich ruby red lips, and vivid blue eyes! This rare porcelaine lamp is marked with her shape number 331, and she is guaranteed to be vintage Fulper porcelaine. This beauty is in mint condition, no apologies. The lamp hardware is in place, and she is in fine working order. This rare boudoir lamp makes an absolutely stunning presentation! If you collect Fulper porcelaine lamps, you just found a spectacular Art Deco beauty!
