    Description

For auction is a very nice vase made by The Fulper Pottery Company of Flemington, NJ. The vase is done in what we call a "Buttressed Handled" or Arts and Crafts style vase. It is done in one of Fulper Pottery's most beautiful glaze combinations known as "Cat's Eye Flambe". The vase has a nice size to it as it stands 4 3/4" tall and is 6" in diameter at the waist or its widest point.
The vase has a squat form and is accented with 2 buttressed style handles that rises up from the waist and attaches to the top lip perfectly flush or even with the top opening. These appear to be two backward (7's) shaped buttress handles. This gives this piece that added arts & crafts, mission flair.
The vase depicts a rich caramel glaze that is accented with a deep brown/black Flambé glaze. The glaze drippings and runs are just wonderful as you can see. They are mostly on one side with the other showing none below the waist.
The vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. Usually there are the smallest glaze pops with the Cats Eye Flambe glaze but there ISN'T even 1 with this vase. The vase is marked on the underside bottom with Fulper's racetrack ink stamp signature mark. As an added bonus there is even a paper label still attached at the bottom in 2 pieces. This would date this vase to be made circa 1922-1928.
This is a real popular shape with the Fulper Pottery collectors and was known as shape number 452 in the Fulper Catalog pages. This is a wonderful example of this form and glaze from Fulper. I'm sure the buyer will be very pleased with their purchase. This would look outstanding on that Stickley, mission, arts and crafts style bookcase.

I want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. Ebay forced me into managed payments in July of this year 2020.
I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. I was told it would be better for me and my fees would go down. This has been the opposite as my fees have actually increased and now it takes longer for me to receive the payments
. Because of this slowdown I will not ship until the payment has made it into my bank account. No store lets you out of the building with the
    merchandise
    unless it is paid for.
    They are also n
ow charging all sellers a commission of 11.5% on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing fee but Ebay has changed this to 11.5%. This is an increase of 8.6% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now they are charging 11.5% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges.
If you feel what Ebay is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact Ebay and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
