Handmade Wooden Market Seed Display Case and Vegetable/Fruit Stand; 1:12 scale

These two pieces create a pair of wooden display cases for seeds, vegetables, fruits, eggs, canned goods and a Lancaster County Farm Cookbook.  Many of the fruits and vegetables are free standing and can be arranged and clustered in different arrangements to suit the scene.  The set lends itself to be part of a grocery or open market scene where customers would stop to shop or browse.  The seed display case is 5 7/8" long x 3" tall x 1 1/2" deep.  The fruit and vegetable slanted display is 4" long x 2 1/2 tall (at back) x 2 3/8" deep.  Both pieces are stained in a warm brown color.

Proceeds from these sales go to support the Museum of Miniature Houses, a museum of fine art in miniature in Carmel, Indiana. The museum’s collection contains thousands of miniatures including room boxes, miniature houses, and exquisite individual items. Also included are collections that may be tiny or full size. The museum has been open to the public since 1993.
