Heinz Stabillo (CD) Series Wicks:
Formerly known as CD , the Stabilo wicks are coreless, non-directional, flat braided wicks with a special paper filament woven around them.
This configuration is engineered to promote maximum and consistent capillary action while ensuring a wick trimming flame posture. The Stabilo series is used in many different applications and is especially compatible with the harder-to-melt viscous waxes of both paraffin and vegetable base.
The Stabillo Series Wicks
are primed in a high melt point paraffin wax,
are pre-cut to 6" lengths and are tabbed using a 20 mm round wick tab with a 6 mm neck.
*CD Series
Wicks are tested and sized based on use in a Straight Paraffin Wax with No Additives.
Each sample pack contains 5  wicks of each size. Total of 40 wicks
C/D 4-- small candles- 1.5 to 2"--  in diameter
C/D 6-- small candles- 2 to 2.25"-- in diameter
C/D 7-- small candles- 2.25 to 2.5-- in diameter
C/D 8-- medium candles- 2.5" to 3"-- in diameter
C/D 10-- medium candles- 3 to 3.5"-- in diameter
C/D 14-- large candles- 3.5"  to 4"      in diameter  '
C/D 18-- large candles- 4" to 4.5 "-- in diameter
C/D 22-- extra large candles- 4.5" to 5"-- in diameter
We can only offer recommendations as to wick sizes and applications, but we cannot guarantee any certain wick to work in a certain application because of too many variables involved,
including many different type waxes.
The only way to determine the appropriate wick selection is by experimentation. Test burning will be necessary to determine the best wick for your candles!
