RRD Candle Wicks Sample Kit Containing 7 Different Sizes

Description

This is a round wick with a uniquely braided cotton core designed with tension threads that give the wick a slight, but effective, curl during combustion. The wick is directional in that capillary action flows more freely in one direction. Due to their intricate design, the RRD series provides a centered burn pool, self-trimming burn characteristics and a consistently high rate of fuel flow.
These wicks work well with viscous fuels such as vegetable wax, gels and one pours. They are effective in containers and especially useful in pillars due to their concentric burn pools.
Each package contains 5 wicks for a total of 35 wicks.
The RRD series wicks are primed in a high melt point paraffin wax, cut to a 6 inch length and tabbed with a 20mm round tab with a 6mm neck.
RRD Series Wicks are tested and sized based on use in a Straight Paraffin Wax with No Additives.

RRD-34-  small 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 inches in diameter
RRD-37- medium 2 1/2 -2 3/4 inches in diameter
RRD-40- medium 2 3/4- 3 inches in diameter
RRD-47- medium 3 - 3 1/2 inches in diameter
RRD-50- large       3 1/2 - 3.75 inches in diameter
RRD-55 large 3 3/4 - 4.5 inches in diameter
We can only offer recommendations as to wick sizes and applications, but we cannot guarantee any certain wick to work in a certain application because of too many variables involved. The only way to determine the appropriate wick selection is by experimentation. Test burning will be necessary to determine the best wick for your candles!
