    Description

    Offered from a local NJ estate  and a set of several is
    a set of TWO (2) FAUX BOOKS STORAGE BOXES
    These  DOUBLE"  tomes are  6 3/8" long, 4 1/2" wide and 2 3/4" high with 4" by 5" interior hidden storage
    and 8" by 6 1/4" by 3 1/2" with 5" by 6 1/2" interior compartment
    gilt stamping and trim over wood form and look like 2 real books when on the shelf,, 1 black and 1 dark red
    with geometric designs on spines and faces
    but hidden inside is a velvety lined storage area for small valuables, and hinged on the 'pages' side
    Some rubbing wear, see photos, smaller has been slid in next to others of the same kind and some marks on face and scrapes on back
    Larger has a rub off area on front cover and scrapes on back
    it still retains label inside, see photo
