*To achieve optimal burn performance in candles with high levels of fragrance, colour or vegetable based waxes use two wicks together (in one wick sustainer) to achieve the optimal effect!
PLEASE NOTE:
*I have noticed a better performance with wooden wicks if they are pre-waxed before use - a simple process of carefully dipping them in the molten wax prior to use and then let them cool before placing into the sustainer.
*If your wick extinguishes during burning it is likely the blend is not right for the wick, and you may have to reduce the amount of fragrance. Alternatively you can alter wax composition, you can increase the viscosity by adding a small amount of beeswax which will excel the capillary action and help the burn quality.
*The wick should always be trimmed so that 5 mm or less is above the wax before lighting for the first time. Failure to do so can result in poor performance and the wick extinguishing during the burn.
*Fun experimentation is the key.
